Mitsuoka Motor unveils classic convertible

This is neither a hybrid car nor a kei car, but it is definately a special car!

Mitsuoka Motor is a small Japanese automobile company which builds modern Japanese cars to resemble British vehicles of the 1950s and 1960s. It is primarily a coachbuilder, taking production cars like the Nissan Micra and replacing the bodywork with its own custom designs.

On 4th December 2008, Mitsuoka will release its new model, Himiko, in Japan. Himiko is based on Mazda's MX5 and is powered by a 2.0 liter engine. The annual production is planned to 35 units and the price tag ranges from 4,950,000 yen to 5,650,000 yen.
